Where have I heard this before? Ah, yes...

"Today, at the dawn of the new century, nothing is more certain than that Darwinism has lost its prestige among men of science. It has seen its day and will soon be reckoned a thing of the past."

When debating about evolution, I think it would be in your best interest to gain some knowledge on evolution, instead of posting easily dubunked claims from Creation sites.

Being able to argue in your own words is much better. Plus, with a better understanding of what is being talked about, you'll be able to weed out the obviously false statements you make, from the ones that have merit.

On second thoughts, I'm better than to do what Creationists do. Had a quick look (quick, but longer than the average Creationist on an Evolution link), and it reminds me of this link Sopharos sent me:

I guess speaking of impending doom is a favorite hobby of fundies - all those "the End of the World is Nigh" signs and all.

We have a debate: is Evolution science or religion? No interference allowed. Let the debate begin. My position is that it's a religion. My opponent says Evolution is a part of science. We shall see who's right and who's wrong.

I believe that your assumption is based entirely on the belief that all evolutionists are atheists.

I want to ask you point blank, if I may: if I were to tell you that I believe in evolution and also believe that Jesus is my savior, would you still say that I am not a Christian?

If the answer is no, then why would you need to argue that evolution is a religion?

You would probably be a Christian, just not a "true" Christian. And definition of "true"? Them.

The theory of evoloution with regards to biological organisms is a science. It draws its conclusions from the observation of emperical evidence using the scientific method. It also makes predictions that are testable and is therefore falsifiable. The theory of evolution fulfills all the criteria required for it to be a science.

Blueberry muffins seem to be the most popular. :yum:

Possibly for the same reason that law enforcement requires large quantities of donuts. I prefer chocolate muffins but blueberry muffins are good with custard.
