I wrote this poem when I was in a dark place, it's about death. It's a bit depressing, sorry.

Death
Fascinates me
I wonder
Will it hurt?
Death
Is not a threat
I welcome it
With open arms
And a smile
Of silk
Death
Does not make me sad
My friends who have gone
Are not gone forever
Death
Is my fate
Is your fate
Is everyone's fate
We cannot argue
With Death
We must embrace Death
Celebrate it
Death
There is no avoiding
You have no choice
We will all die someday
Who knows?
Perhaps your day is today

I like it. I don't think it's too depressing cause you say that your friends who are gone aren't gone forever. Not a bad poem.
