I will quit watching if they take Sawyer...
They have announced the "death" of a major character this season. Who do you think? Have you seen the MSN odds? Agree? Disagree?

03/01 - Life & Style magazine is reporting that Dominic Monaghan has been told he won't be back for next season. Source: Kristin on E!Online [Note: Evangeline Lily claims that Dominic doesn't know if Charlie will die or not. There have been no confirmation from cast and crew that Charlie will indeed die.]

Claire is a good guess. She really does not have much to do these days, and I don't see a lot of reason to keep her around now that Aaron has been born.

I can envision Charlie losing it on Desmond if it happens. "You said it would be me!!" and falling apart, wishing for one of those Virgin Mary statues..... and eventually taking over the raising of Aaron.

I like that! Would be a great storyline. Charlie would want to assume the mantle of fatherhood to assuage his grief, even though

Jack as the possible uncle would obviously take precedence over a wannabe boyfriend

I'm with If Not For Grace. I'll quit watching if they kill Sawyer.

I think it's interesting that the two times Charlie has nearly died Claire has been involved. Claire's tent was the one hit by lightning and Claire was the one who nearly drowned. It would be interesting if Desmond was wrong about who was going to die

Me too. That's the coolest guy on the show.

If it's uncertain about whether an actor will stay, it makes sense to prepare the fans for the death of his character. They put up 2 possibilities, with Hurley and Desmond. If he stays, they'll say that the ride down hill with Hurley canceled the curse.

I'm guessing it was the same thing with Harold Perrineau, leaving it open as to whether we'll see him again. (And the actor who played Walt was growing too fast for the time-line of the show.)

I'd kind of be surprised if it were Charlie, it just doesn't seem like a good option to me. Alex dying could have VERY interesting effects on the plot.

Ben dying would be terrible (loss of a great character), but could also have interesting plot effects. He's also stated in interviews that he doesn't really care for TV acting - he prefers the live stage.

Locke or Sayid are the front runners to me. I can see them handling Locke the way they did Eko: finish up the backstory in the same episode that he eventually dies in.

I almost quit watching the show when Eko died...he was one of the coolest characters on the show!

If they kill Hurley, Sayid, Sawyer or Charlie, I would be very angry. If Hurley or Charlie died, I might go into a period of mourning. :p

Although Desmond is a fairly new character, I would also be really upset if he died.

In the previews I saw, it looked like the legs of a girl that was being covered over. Anyone else catch this?

Maybe Nikki will bite the dust in her one and only backstory.
That would be awesome

Well, after reading some rumors, it may not be Nikki :( Now I'm very curious to see how tomorrow night plays out.

someone gets biten by a poisonous spider and "appears" to be dead. Interesting. But the thought of one of our beloved being burried alive...
