Dealing with Pride

I am in need of some prayers to help me recently with my revalation of how much my pride effects others around me. God has shown me that my pride is something i need to get rid of in my life. It's part of my "old self" that i used to have before i was saved but wants to return and hurt others. God is helping me to deal with this problem because he is the only one who can, i am asking for your prayers as well and thank you in advance

Orangetang22, your post could be said of myself also. I believe it's a sin most Christians deal with, or should.

It's comforting to see others dealing with the same issues. Also something was brought to my attention recently on what the Bible says about boasting. It says that the only good boasting is "boasting in the Lord". So lets all pray to be a little more humble in the future, i know i need it!

It is also the problem I deal with most. Pride and impatience. Working day by day with it. One day at a day. Good days and bad days. But the fact that you care to change is what counts. I admire you for wanting to do better and better. My prayers to you and others like us.

Its awsome to see God show you where you are in your personality!
Thank you Lord for showing my brother where he is in his life and how it is effecting others around him, give him the strength to put away the old and bring out the new!
