Dealing with a sinful past ?

I have a past that I am very embarassed of and not proud of at all, but as God forgives you, you have to forgive yourself too. Your sins are wiped clean. You are new and fresh from this day forth. Do your best to be a good Christian and remember that everyone sins and not one of us is perfect and you won't be either. So if you do something wrong don't get down on yourself, just ask for forgiveness and move on.

I come from a past of drugs, homosexuality, and witchcraft. When CHRIST changed my life I was able to find a church I was accepted in. Since then I have visited many churches in the area (I've stayed rooted in my home church, but I like to be a member of the entire body in my area rather than just hide in one place) and have been accepted everywhere I went.

I say this to help quench some of those fears you have of being judged. Just go where God leads you and if by the off chance someone is not understanding of what grace really means, teach them by your example.
