with that said & explained,

Rep swapping mostly benefits people that have closer to 5 stars. The other rep. rooms give a much better return for your amount of reps that you put out when you have less than 5 stars.

Although very few people post in the swapping thread for less than 10 stars (or is there a third one).

Also it is very hard to make deals if you are not a site supporter.

very true about site support - a close friend of mine who came in occassionally when she didn't have SS had a hard time repping. she had to go out & spend 5 reps then come back & give that person another 1 - 3 times.

As far as rep swap threads, this one is the first one that started Feb. 17th & it 'evolved' a few times as we learned the in's & out's of swapping; what worked & what didn't.

I finally made an identical swap thread for 1-12 stars becuz some complained that only 'high reppers' were able to swap (not true tho becuz they could of joined in when it started) that nobody cared about & never took off ... the same day I made that one, Renda made one for 1-10 stars which does't really operate the same way this one does.
So I think there's only 2 that exist, & you're right, neither one do much at all. I don't bother trying to resurrect mine.

I never understood why 1-12 level swap threads never went over... but then, it's near impossible to get ANY new thread thriving in this forum - nobody is interested in new stuff or something, I dunno.

Yeah, I am not usually a site supporter. Some very kind person paid my subscription for a month so that I could star up. thumbsup: Thank you, you know who you are). So I wasn't able to participate in this thread until now.

I'm so glad you're here in the rep forum, it's been so much fun here (well, this is 1 little problem we've recently had on this thread - but haven't had any others) lol

Yes - but we have people who start coming here to swap who have just 2 stars too, we like to give good deals to help people move up too, it's not exactly all about 'being even' trading.
It's just the idea of getting a better rep return for however many reps you have yourself.

Right now you'll get over double your return on the regular threads you play on - rep the person above you,
rep the 5 people above you, beg for reps, post here if you're within 100,000/500,000 of your next star threads, etc.
So even starting trading at 2 stars can help move you up quicker.
