CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'm a SAHM so there aren't a lot, but when DH or grandparents watch the kids I usually go shopping or go to dinner/lunch with some girlfriends.

I'm a total bum on my days off. I put in so many hours at work that staying home with a movie sounds like a heaven! I'm usually not a total bum because I usually will throw in a pedicure/manicure treat....then its back to bumming.

Usually I'll spend weekends with my fiancee since we don't get to see each other during the week (we're about 80 miles apart). We loaf around, watch movies, go for walks or play croquet when it's nice out, play board games (Scrabble, backgammon, etc.), hang out with family and friends, go to church, or whatever else comes to mind.
On "solo" weekends, I usually end up doing a lot of the same things; additionally I might play music by myself or with friends, get a RPG session in, paint minis, etc.
