What are us Millennials up to?

What exactly are Millennials doing these days?

I feel like work takes up my life. I wish I had friends to hang out with. Or a boyfriend.

Most of the time I'm at work. Since I work in university, there's always something to do, either doing research, writing, or reading to keep up with the literature.

I don't have any friends to hang out, but I'm ok with going out by myself, which is often the cinema or the theatre; sometimes piano concerts and recitals are fun too. But a large part of my free time is devoted to reading fiction or literary criticism, so I spent a great deal of time at home.

Argh, for the past few days I haven't been sleeping really well. Woke up at 3 a.m. again this morning and couldn't go back to sleep so I just got up and started my day. That's one hour better than the 2 a.m. I woke up at the day before! What am I doing wrong here? I'm not a night owl. I was when I was a teenager, but I grew out of it...

You said you wanted to know what Millennials are doing? Lol, be ready for a mess. You asked for it.

I had to work longer hours this week. It's too hard to do. My mind quits work after certain hours.

I hope I can get back to my writing soon. There's much that's happened last month and this week.

It seems like the millennials that got married are raising families. The ones who didn't we're just working & taking it easy. Like Troph, I read a lot. But I like reading about real things

I'm actually glad I never had children. I wouldn't want them to be in this horrible world. And with all the things that have been revealed to me the last 5-6 years, I'm convinced I would be more of a slave to money if I had had children, than I am now as a single, childless woman.

I think it’d have been too overwhelming for me. But now I’ve gotten bored of everything. I think you have to really like the ways of the world too to have kids & I do not like the things the world does

What I was just thinking about is how it is a pity that the world runs on something as materialistic as money, instead of the love and grace of God. You don't see anyone doing selfless acts of love and kindness for people anymore. Everyone wants money. Everyone wants a handout. It's a pity. But the currency of Gods kingdom is love, so I hear. It's not materialistic, it's spiritual.
