Does anybody here believe in Creation but that God took millions and millions of years to do so? I do not fow several reasons but I will hold them till I hear ya'll's opinions!

For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek. Romans 1:16

God certainly did not take millions of years but six days. I wonder why Christians themselves (the world i can understnd) wld argue with this since the Bible itself defines for us what it means when it says "day". It has spelt it out so clearly so why the confusion? The only reason I can think of is that they want God to line up with the 'Word' of Charles Darwin or man-science, rather than the other way round.

I find myself a progressive creationist. I once read a posting by a man named Ghoti which pretty well firmed up for me.
Although the sun was not created yet, light was. I don't know how, but the bible says that it was.
The 7th day never had an end. We are still living in it.
