  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I want to see this movie, I noticed the zombies running too.

There have been alot of Zombie movies over the years, and the one thing they all had in common, was they were slow moving. This played into the creepyness of the whole thing. Then I saw "28 days later..." and it was there that I saw zombies running. Italians love zombie movies and I don't know if they made running ones or not, but they were in that movie.
Running Zombies really changed the feel of the movie, I loved it.

I am thinking of going to see it opening day. It looks very kewl. I've not seen the origional but this one looks very creepy... My ownly complaint is that there are too many zombie movies coming out lately. This, Resident Evil 2, there are some others but I can't remember which.

What is the appeal for Zombie movies for you guys/gals? I'm really wondering - because I watched one, and it just didn't do anything for me. A really kind of plotless thing, to me.
Its a triller, a 'what if I went through this?' type of movie. You put yourself in the characters shoes.

I haven't seen this movie yet, but I can pretty much assure you that it will pale in comparison to 28 Days Later. The original is a cool movie, not one of my favorites but good none the less. This remake just comes too late. Its a remake of a cult classic, which pretty much dooms it to be mediocre at best, and Danny Boyle did the same basic story last year only better, running zombies and all.

Outside of Christ, folk are "dead in trespasses & sins", Bible says...

More than that...

"Broad is the road that leads to destruction & the many walk down it!"

So don't blindly follow the crowd....

They're a crowd of lemmings, headed for the edge of the precipice...

Pretty fast!!

"Strait & narrow is the road that leads to life: few find it!!"

Only Jesus saves, heals & delivers souls from Satan's grasp...

"Marvel not that I tell you: you must be born again/from above!" - said Jesus to the top religious teacher, in John 3

He also said, "Unless you are born again, you will not even see the Kingdom of God!"

So turn away from all evil & ask Jesus to forgive all your sins & come into your heart, as Saviour & Lord of life

"Awake, O sleeper, & rise from the (spiritually) dead!"

He wants us to shine as bright lights in this dark, lost world

"Brighter than the dawn!"

Isn't 28 days later, the best zombie movie? I think it is.

I thought ya meantthe ads were da best part!

I'll never forget the dramatic ending of Charles Bronson in Chato's End: camera on corpse...fade to black...

Up came an advert for the local undertakers - as if da whole film was made to plug them - I was the only 1 who roared laffin too!!

I urge you to remember the British zombie film that was made recently - "28 days later"!
