I just saw a commercial for a Davinci Code video game coming out sometime soon....I'm not sure if any of you have seen it before or heard of it but I just thought you might want to know that the maddness isn't just gonna stop with the movie.

That was probably inevitable.

What's the idea? Is it one of those P.O.V. where you're an Opus Dei assassin trying to finish off the Knights Templar?

This whole da Vinci code thing reminds me of Y2K. Remember that? It was all over the news and so on. This is just the latest fad I think.

But what bugs me it da Vinci was a genius, and his name is getting a bad connotation I think. What would he think about all this silliness associated with him now?

*Nods* I know! He was so smart and made so many awesome things, yet right now whenever you hear his name it's followed by "Code" and some gibberish.

I'll give the videogame 2 weeks before it's completely forgotten.

Nothing shocking here. Over the past couple of years, they've made a videogame out of just about any movie that has even a hint of adventure or mass appeal, including Harry Potter, Fantastic Four, and even Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. A few are good, but most movie-based games are flops. I wouldn't worry about this one too much. I know for a fact that I wouldn't waste even $5 on it.
