  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

are they..."VITAL FORCE" cookies(tm)? Because if they are, no thanks, they take to long to produce.
tulc(do you have chocolate chip? I'll have one of those! and I brought milk!)

*looks* Nope...no VITAL FORCE(tm) cookies. We tried doing some scienceytific stuff to make the sun produce VITAL FORCE(tm) cookies, but no matter what we do it just keeps shooting out those **** planets

As for the chocolate chip....well, I have regular and vegan chocolate chip cookies (for our lactose intolerant friends) don't know which is which though. They both taste the same.

I'm going to speak to you seriously, Mr. Waffen.

I have very strong misgivings about anyone who comes in here saying they have 'uncovered the great lie that is evolution'. You are not the first and you will not be the last.

Why?

Lack of proof? Lack of knowledge in given subjects? No.

The fact that you are proclaiming possession of this knowledge on a public message board like this where (regardless if everyone believed you) you would get no furthur in your cause. Were you just so excited you had to share? Why not write a book? Contact the government? You'd be famous!

So...what about it? Ready to REALLY go public?

ROFL! Nice one. And not because it tries to compliment me. Tell your grandmother that's a great phrase.
Alas, my grandmother passed away a while ago, but, if there is an afterlife, I'm sure she knows you liked it.

And if there's not... well, at least her wit and wisdom has survived...

Sorry to hear that. She sounds like a great lady. Wish I could've known her. I bet we would have had some good times being irreverent!

And now that wit and wisdom will go even further. I'll be sure to pass the phrase along.

All right! An Ambrose Bierce fan! A definition from The Devil's Dictionary! I easily remember the ones for "flag" and "zig-zag" but the one for "absurdity" hits home too, doesn't it? I'd forgotten it.

That is like asking how a magician performs a trick, it varies by preference and method. If you want to go into specifics, you might talk about the methods used as the source of the "DNA", prokaryotic, eukaryotic nucleous or mitochondrial, etc.

A bit like electrophoresis, in which proteins are segmented, denatured and bathed in negatively-charged solution to give it a more negative charge. The proteins are then exposed to an electrical current which allows the human eye to distinguish between similar strands based on movement/size. This can, as scientists in the DNA fantasy world claim, be done on "DNA". The problem is when the vital force is affected by these processes. Not all cells have similar vital forces, so when they perform these tests and see differences, they love to pin it on DNA, which is simply a lie. You will find that similar cells and relatives have similar vital forces, so when you begin to expose them to these various processes, it is no wonder the vital force acts on them and yields results that differ based on the make-up of the samples. The vital forces of similar samples will causes the processes to yield more similar results then the vital forces of dissimilar samples. It has nothing to do with "DNA". It is all basic logic.

If you put different oils and fats in water with another single solution as your constant, you will find they all interact differently based on how dissimilar the oils and fats are. Different brands of olive oil will interact more similar than lard or butter.

Same with with these "DNA" processes.

We're almost 2 weeks further, and still I have to see any conclusive evidence that DNA is non-exsitant.Go ahead davey you've kept us waiting long enough.
oh but we have "vital forces" now, so we are getting close I feel. I am just wondering how one sequences these vital forces, and how these vital forces are inherited in a particulate manner with mendelian ratios.

does that tell me what they were looking at when they did a chromosome count?
