He just passed away yesterday. What does everyone think of his ministry while he was here on Earth?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I'll miss him terrible =CRYING!! WE lost a great, great preacher trust me!! Hugs to you Sealacamp ! There are so many fake, phony preachers today who are not worth 2 cents! He shames them all in my opinion.

I do not know if anyone could fill his shoes totally all the way! They ought to publish all his writings continuously still [they're worth their weight in gold!!]/I hope they keep his ministry essentially and DO NOT compromise it!

I've heard mixed reviews. I never heard any of his sermons, so I don't know. But I've heard bad things about him too - mainly just about his prophesying about the end days.

I really appreciated his ministry, and still do. I have been getting his newsletters; they are always uplifting and full of encouragement for believers.
This great man of God will be missed. My prayers will go out to his family.

I was so sad to hear the news of David Wilkerson passing. But what a joy he is having in Heaven with the Father! He is also reunited with family members he has lost in the past.
I have been a skeptic in the past of different ministers who have prophetic messages. But David Wilkerson has been right on. He was such a humble man, he called himself a night watchman rather than a prophet, but in my eyes, he was a prophet.
My condolences to his precious family.

I sure wish I can be in eternity with that joy believe me!! Safe and in His arms ,but we got to struggle down here on earth yet..I was so sad to hear the news of David Wilkerson passing. I agree wholeheartedly, and what a struggle it is at times. But one day, God's people will not have to endure the harsh trials of this earth.

But didn't he wrongly predict the end times...twice? I'm just asking, I'm not trying to discredit his ministry as a whole, but predictions of end times are suppose to be a sign of false prophets. I'm just quoting the Bible on that one..

Not being totally familiar with Wilkerson's ministry, I can't say with absolute certainty here, but I don't think he had set dates. Rather he did what many preachers have done and encouraged believers to be prepared in case of a natural disaster or financial collapse.

I don't know - half of what I find on him is in praise of his ministry, while other links I find say the Pentecostal/ AoG / Charismatics label him as a heretic.

Yes, I figured as much. That isn't in any way me trying to discredit the AoG church. I identify as AoG! Lol. I'm just saying what the reports I've read about him say.
