i know it sounds stupid but i havent dated for like almost 3 years. I saw nobody and i wanted to be single to serve God, until she came along. should i date? i mean she's a christian and i do like her. i think i can talk like a million things about herand we hang out alot. I prayed about it already but i dont know the answer from God
what should i do?

3 years no dating is a long time serving God, so I think that you SHOULD date this girl. If you are sure you like her and she likes you, and she is a christian then why not? You never know, God might have sent her to you as your reward!!

Its TOTALLY up to what you want and what you think God wants for you, it might help to think about the reason you wanted to stay single again, see if it still applys? i meant.. i didnt want to date at all and wanted to be single for as long as possible.. until God shows me the girl.
its hard to say the reason why i want to date her, but we do pray, read and worship together.. and she's like my only good heart to heart friend in my univerisity.

im kinda scared of dating.. cuz last time i was in a relationship for 3 years i got dumped around my 18th b-day. now im almost 21. and im scared cuz i might ruin the friendshiP?
she already knows i like her i think. she said something like "i already know what you're thinking and why are you embarrassed about it? if i know what it is and im still hanging out with you, u shouldnt be embarrassed to say." .. yeh but im just a shy guy. tis not my culture to say it that plain too.

First of all, there's a big difference between high school relationships and college relationships- as well as after- college relationships. Just because you were burned in your first relationship while you were young, doesn't necessarily mean that you are destined to be single for life. Maybe God is giving you this girl for a reason. I'd see what happens, if I were you.

i think im goin to pray about it.. and then ask her parents first .. and God can decide through her parents.. i guess it's courteous way to do it too, and of course, after talking to her about it.. bahahaha

I think asking her parents is a cool idea, but make sure that you don't leave her out of the equation. And if you do decide to go for it you need to do it person, it just makes everything easier and much clearer, it also shows that you respect her more. Take it from a person who did it the e-mail way, and it doesn't work.

I think you should go for it, don't let one bad experience ruin it for the rest of your life, its really not worth it.

She sounds great! The message in a bottle idea is really cute! It still would be a lot better if you talked to her in person though. Maybe you could send her a message in a bottle asking her to hang out with you on a certian day or to go out to dinner or something like that, so that you can tell her your feelings in person. I know this has probably happened already... but I do have one suggestion. You can pray and ask that if this is the WRONG decision, that God would give you peace about it and you wouldnt keep feeling this way.

I totally love the message in a bottle idea, its incredibly sweet. I hope it all goes very well for you.
