  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

The bf I broke up with that one time well I got back with him. I like him the problem is my friend is not respecting my relationship with my bf. The other day I even explained to him that we can't hang out and conversate all the time and what not. Well, he went out and bought me a ring right after saying he understood. I am frustrated because the guy is my friend, but I'm trying to have a real relationship with my bf and maybe get married and what not. I don't have the heart to be rude to my friend though. My bf knows some of what is happening. It's causing issues for me. Help.

Yeah the friend. The way the man I was dating talked to me on the phone started making me feel like he wasn't that nice and he sounded kind of controlling so I talked him out of dating me so I could get out of the relationship. I feel like I wanted my friend more anyway.
