hey what up room. I'm seeking for some advice. I am dating right now, and the lady is such a wonderful friend. She's my best friend, been even before we even started dating which was even cooler. My family is having a big problem with the whole relationship mainly because she used to date a relative. The family is pretty close, and for the most part people are very displeased. Infact some friends have been going behind our backs and talking. To be honest, I love my best friend, and i don't date to date... you know...
The issue for me is more cultural than it is opinion. My culture looks at things like this very differently. We have soo much support from other friends, but its either you are with us or you are not kind of thing. very polarized.
I guess the issue for me is trusting God. Nothing is impossible. If this were a sin issue, then i would immediately stop u know, but its not, its a cultural issue, a personal issue. A family thing. Sticky situation, but please understand that I am not looking for someone to tell me what to do... i already have counted the costs. I always do. Its more encouragement i guess... but your free to voice your opinions.
