"Dateless waif"? Seems apt right about now, considering I haven't been on anything other than a first date in about 3 years & the last date of any kind was near to a year ago. Being single sucks, & being a Christian single trying to find a decent guy is next to "cruel & unusual punishment."

Yeah yeah, understand the feeling about "cruel & unusal punishment". Last date I was on was New Years of 2004. But that was the last time I saw her. Kept E-mailing but never heard anything back. Later learned that she was super conservative and she was look for the same. She said that I was having too good of time at the party (No drinks were served at this one) therefore not conservatie enough.

Hqw is everybody's Friday? Heading out to Cabellas after shopping for food. Seems the cat animals are trying to eat me out of house and home.

I'm going to the State Fair of Texas with my family tonight and you better believe I will be eating a fried s'mores candy bar and a corny dog because I've been saving up for it all week. I have a ton of errands to run before then though

Enjoy the State Fair. Michigan had theirs in Aug. Every time I turned around someone had their hand out for $$$$ pay to park pay to get in. At least the concerts were free. Anyone playing down there that you want to brag up.

sorry i can't post more often, but i'm only online a couple of times per week. it's kind of sad, but when i moved here i didn't know anyone. most kids leave this town pretty quickly after high school. so the girls that were just starting high school when i met them are almost old enough for me to go out with now without people clucking their tongues about ages. the sad part is is that i'm not really interested in them because they obviously don't share my values.

It depends on where you look. If you look at a bar or even just out in public, yea its going to be hard one but if you look in a church you will probably have a good chance of finding one and if you dont then God doesn't want you to have one right now.

saw my ex on friday night. this is the first time i've seen him since he moved (back @ the end of july) and @ that time his ex-girlfriend came back into the picture and he was trying to decide btwn the 2 of us. he chose her, obviously. so this was the 1st time we've seen each other and had to act completely platonically. but it was good. we ended up having fun and i was good at keeping any romantic feelings at bay and just accepted the situation as it was. it's taken me a while to get to this point, but i'm getting there.

Just the usual weekend going fencing friday night do home work and house work on Saturday perhaps go cow tipping. or something like that if I have the time.

The same could be said about finding a good man. You know the joke, "good men are like parking spaces, all the good ones are taken." I'd love to find a guy who shares my values, was honest, & was fun to be with. I'm not saying I want Prince Charming, I'm just tired of only finding toads.
