Being shy is one of the largest, maybe the largest obsticle to finding a mate. I used to be quite shy(I'm sure you can all imagine). What got me over it was a job at Safeway(a large grocery store). Part of my job as a grecery clear was to make eye contact, smile and say hello to every single person within 10 feet of me. It worked like a charm. I got so used to talking to complete strangers that my shyness almost became extinct. It never completely goes away, but I've learn to suppress those feelings of shyness and talk to whomever I wish to. It's nothing for me when I see an absolutely beautiful person within shouting distance of me, to walk up to them, smile and say hello. I'd say that 99% of the time, that they smile and say hello back. For anyone who is shy, go into a mall for a couple of hours and do nothing except for practicing making eye contact and saying hello to every 10 people that you see. Don't even worry if they are holding someone's hand and walking with them...say hi to them both! It makes you happy and more confident because you're talking with other people, and it makes everyone that you talk to smile!!! You've brightened up multiple people's day and helped to boost your own confidence. Once you're doing this, you don't really even need to start conversations so much, because people will just start talking to you! (or some reason I have a lot of random conversations with people of retirement age.)

The most attractive thing about someone is a warm smile and a confident voice. Always smile and talk like you know what you are talking about, even if you don't. Never second guess yourself outloud. I once got a date with a complete stranger because she saw me smiling as I was talking to my friend on a cold miserable day. She walked up to me and started talking about how seeing me smiling warmed the day up a bit.

Make someone smile today!

Hey Lbiagm take a look at post 456 on page 46. Tenor Voice said that he had a wedding to go to. I was just telling Tenor Voice or anyone that read this I was going to the beach to lay around like some poor beached whale or shark.

Lbiagm how was your 4th July?? Mine was totally devoid of dates. I ended up moving a friend's work bench. He had removed all loose tools the only tools on the bench was the ones bolted down to the top of it.

Shhh.... Don't tell anyone! I like to hide my sensitive side under my sweet, sweet tan.

So I was at a grocery store today buying some sushi and OJ. When I went though the checkout I noticed that the cash lady was smoking hot. So I told her that I thought that she was freakin' beautiful. She kind of blushed, I think that I made her a bit uncomfortable. Oh well, hopefully she was happy that someone noticed that she was freakin' hot.

Speaking of weddings, I'm going to be the best man at a wedding on Aug. 7. If I'm the best man, then what does that make the groom? Did the bribe-to-be only get the second best man?

But my sister is getting married on Oct 2 this year and she wants me to sing for her wedding. I asked her what she wants me to sing for it and she had no idea. So I told her that if she could find me the words to "TAPS" I would sing that lol

Hello! I"m dateless since I was born. Not sad about it. There had been a point in my life that I thought there's something weird about me that scare guys away. Well I'm still dateless, but I have been getting emails from a guy I know in Iraq that I used to work with whom I used to have a tiny crush on (Did I say used to? lol). Anyway, who knows. Maybe he'll have some leave time and we can get together or something He's a very strong Christian guy. And also cute hehe.
