Yeah, I know exactly what you mean; I'm in a similar boat with a good friend of mine. The timing just isn't there, so all I can do is try not to think about my crush, enjoy being friends and trust that God will lead me to where He wants me...

Well I'm still dateless, for now.

It didn't go anywhere with the girl in NT. Between fall break, class not meeting and her being absent I've not seen her in about 3 weeks, so the heck with that.

However... there's this girl in my calculus class... we're usually walking the same way leaving class and both usually walking alone. Last Wed. we ended up coming out about side-by-side and I just decided to try striking up conversation. Almost every day since we've walked together talking.. I think there really might be something there (though it should be worth noting that I'm effectively deaf, blind and dumb to such things)

We have a midterm next week in the class, so I think tomorrow I'm going to ask if she wants to get together over the weekend or early next week to study for it, then go from there...

I guess I will be dateless as well, although I will be less than 5 miles from my crush this weekend. Oh well. I'll enjoy going home though. I haven't even heard from him since Monday, come to think of it....hmmm. Still content being single though. It's just a season, I hope, and I better try and enjoy it!
