At least pitches come your way.

It helps when you play t-ball.;)

In other words, pitches never come to you on their own. You have to keeps finding the pitchers on your own and striking. My batting average is probably about a .104, but I put myself up to bat a lot so I get a good number of hits.

Really? I wouldn't have guessed - it doesn't show in you're writing style! Though how a redhead writes I don't have a clue.... :^)

i was just reading an article (in a women's magazine, so...yeah, probably not really scientific) but it was talking about perceptions people form of others based on hair color. of redheads it said "historically red hair has been prized in Greece and Italy, glorified in ancient Greek poetry, and celebrated by painters such as Titian.....the most common stereotype about redheads is that they have 'hot tempers'.....another common inference is that they're 'wild and sexy'". truthfully, i'm not sure what the stereotypes are of redheads these days; but people are fascinated by my hair color (and that is not to sound vain at all--more that people think it's cool and unusual....) does my writing betray my eye color?

So I should pursue women with my bat. No wonder I've been failing! Thanks!

Nico i would guess that your blunt, very opinionated, very passionate about whatever you believe in and not easily fooled or talked out or into anything. Stubborn? If you are than congrats you are my favorite kind of woman, i have been with many red heads and they are the only ones that stimulate my brain... And red heads are hot too. :p

*Putting on my philosophizing hat* I suppose this may be a stereotype as well, but I feel like I have observed it personally too. Anyways, it seems to me that most red heads also tend to be a freckle plenty. Sure there are some without, but for the most part I meet far more red heads w/ freckles than people w/ any other hair color & freckles. And for that matter, why is it that only Caucasians seem to have developed blonde hair and everyone else everywhere else stuck w/ the good ol' browns and blacks? There's a conspiracy in there somewhere...

most redheads do seem to have a lot of freckles, but i've noticed that those are the ones w/fair skin and usually lighter eyes as well. perhaps b/c my heritage is just one big jumble of people from the mediterranean on the maternal side and northern european on the paternal side that i got the red hair combined w/darker, more olive-y skin and dark eyes. so i'm not so freckle-y. don't know what to tell you about the hair color and ethnicity thing, though. and actually most adult blondes aren't really blonde anymore. there are very few natural blondes who stay that way as adults. in fact, out of all the many blondes i know, only one is currently still natural.

That's nuts.

Really? I'm surprised and not surprised at the same time. It really kind of freaks you out when you know someone as having a certain physical characteristic only to find out weeks or months later it's fake or has been modified somehow. Well it does me at least. Perhaps I'm easily freakified.

Ummm, I've never heard of anyone being weireded out by that, but now that I think about it, it could be a little freaky. As a woman I'm just used to the whole "color from a box" thing. I have never strayed from my brown, except with some highlighting....but I guess it might be something that other people don't think about either til it affects them...

I dated a hair-stylist for like, two years, so I'm all about the highlights and stuff now. Freaks women out when I can actual recognize and describe "lowlights".

Well perhaps "freaked out" is too strong a sentiment. More so I mean, really surprised. The day I discovered color contact lenses was an epiphany for me.
