And I planned to never post here, but I need to get to 667 posts from where I was at the end of the evening.... I utterly deny any waif'ness.

Can I get credit for having lunch with a female friend on the other end of the country in a couple of weeks? My personal belief is that faithful single women are an optical delusion... at least in Denver.

(well, I know they exist, but who can find them? Their worth is greater than rubies)

Ok KeilCoppes what ever. The part of credit question about having lunch with a female friend you can have credit only if you report back to this thread. I won't get into your persnonal beliefs if you don't get into mine. But I think we are perdestine to find a mate somewhere, prehaps not in Denver or Detroit.

The value of faithful gal is beyond the value of rubies and can not be estimated.

It is not the choice of being dateless, but more or less the choice of using your time for God's purpose and will, as he prepares your for that special someone he has planned in your life.

All in all, i am happy to be dateless again, as i can be more focus on the things that God wants me to be.

Plus also my previous relationship was leading me more away from God than to him, but through his grace i learnt that (the hard way), and now realise that i wont make the same mistakes.

God gives us a choice: His way and the only way, and although we are only human, he gives us hope and faith through even the toughest of times.

i.e being dateless, single or just your chosen path.

Another dateless weekend-- in Lake Tahoe! Unfortunately I was trapped in a small space with my parents, so I wasn't able to enjoy it as much as I might have...

I heard it's super cold in Tahoe now... any snow in the forecast?!?!?...

I am not a good skier and or snow booarder not much on techique but I sure have fun and sometimes I really get beat up. That's ok as long as I can go out the next day and do it again.

That would be a once-upon-a time thing with me. Being in Colorado, I used to ski blues at Keystone and Loveland. There's an old saying, though:

- When you have the time you don't have the money.
- When you have the money you don't have the time.
- When you have the time and money you're too exhausted to do anything!

I'm in the second category these days. :^)

I'm not that great either.. I usually stick to the blue/blacks.. or the easy blacks. Just started going into the park 2 years ago.. I can't jump I just go over them.. I did get about an inch or two of air one time - WOOHOO!!! LOL!!! It is so much fun though - love it!!

Forgive me if I skip snowboarding to curl up by the fireplace with a good book and a glass of wine. There are few things in this world that make me feel as ungraceful as snow skiing or snowboarding.

Not to mention that while we're talking snowboarding and cold weather that most of the fish used in fish tacos isn't in season in the winter. May I recommend a pot roast or a ham?

Does anybody live near Whistler?.. been dying to go there.
Anybody in here have suggestions on a board that can work for freestyle or freeride snowboarding made for a shorty? I've got a Burton now.. like it a lot but it's so old school.. it weighs a ton and is too short for the long runs - need more edge.
