Date Ideas

Anyone got any good date ideas? I'm looking for date ideas that are creative, fun, romantic, and cheap or free. I'm tired of the cliche dinner and movie dates; I mean, don't get me wrong, those are great some times, but they can get so old! I want something fun and exciting to do! I love adventure!

--We like to go shopping together. Makes a fun date out of a chore. Each one learns so many things about the other doing mundane everyday things like shopping. We stopped at Home Depot, for me, and you would have thought I had taken her to Disneyland, she'd never been there before and she loved it!? Out in the world like that people see how you interact and smile at you as a couple and build you up without even knowing it.

Now as a man I hate shopping, but with my honey, I'd shop all day long. Not a bad test for compatibility either.

When it's not winter, a fun idea is to pack a picnic, go to a park that also has some walking trails, and go for a picnic and a hike. At least I love doing that!

Hmm... I dunno where you live, but museums can be cool to visit, especially if there's an exhibit of something you're interested in. Or other "tourist" attractions- many people have not even visited the tourist-type places around their own area, and it can be kinda fun to do.

Adventurous you say? Hmm... I'm not really the adventurous type... maybe like rock climbing or something like that? Stuff like that can get kinda expensive though.

I would enjoy just walking and exploring some unknown place, like a park, a town, a school, anywhere. It doesn't have to be structured, like hiking trails.
