CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

You mean, .like an ARG (Alternate Reality Game) ? I read about how movies and whatnot set up a bunch of clues and whatnot to promote their movies, and it can be nationwide. LOL.

I read this series when I was younger. I liked it so much that I just read it again a couple of years ago.
I saw they had new editions of the books out and said the movie was forthcoming.
I'll definitely be going to see it. I wish I could get my daughter interested in this series.

I really liked the book, but the movie doesn't look too good to me. For one thing, the family is now a bunch of modern Americans who move to the UK. It just....I fear they will massacre a great book with some garbage adaptation. Don't know if I will see it or not.
