I have a good idea why they don't get it ... because they think they are quite 'wise and prudent' -- just look at the tone in their replies - trying to 'debate' - trying to using 'logic' and 'reasoning' - trying to validate a 'religions' that are absolutely hilarious - just a mockery of democracy - like they are discussing something complicated - lol

About Matt 11:25.. I read it as "wise and learned, and revealed them to little children".

Not sure whether you were referring to me but I stated that my faith and belief was based on my intuition as a subtle guide and not logic and reason, or thoughts formed alone as the basis of my faith, and stated that faith based on that alone was hollow and worthless. Tell me what you think that those seated on right hand part to being with god is referencing.

Edit: to save me the further in depth debate from yourself, god can be found or you can be seated with God by finding him, or finding the connection, in the right hand hemisphere of your brain, which is where your intuitive functioning gets processed, this should be used instead of using the left hand hemisphere alone which is where we use logic and reason and God will never be found there. Of course the brain uses these parts all the time, but if the mind is locked into creating through thought processes alone those processes can be caustic etc, whereas, the creative aspect of the right hand hemisphere is a connected element. You were born using this part of your brain, due to the brain wave function of a child operating in an Alpha/theta brain wave state. As you grow and become self aware your own creative elements come into play, using a beta brain wave function, small children and animals do not have this function. When you become self aware and able to 'create' as an independant being you run the risk of creating in a disconnected state. I could add more but time dictates otherwise.

Not acceptable in a Christian framework or for anyone at any time? What would you propose be done to "deal with" Pagans or Satanists?

How about give them employment so they can contribute some income tax and know what it's like to have a job with some responsibility and a bible to learn some basics of how to live a meaningful and productive life.

I know I know, you're so open minded and inncoent that when you announce to normal people what you're involved with you're just 'horrified' at how close-minded and pig-headed they are when they can't accept you or even take the time to learn what its about -- lol

I have a BS degree in computer science and various certifications. I've been employed for the last 15 years working my way up from technical support to Director of IT. I was a corporate executive at 24, responsible for the operation of multimillion dollar corporations. I pay may taxes and own my home and cars with the money I've earned. I've been married for 13 years and have a daughter. I volunteer with multiple charitable organizations involving environmental protection, animal rescue, and providing school supplies for under privileged children. I vote in every election. Is that productive enough for you?

No, I don't care if anyone thinks my beliefs are silly. I can't expect anyone to share them since they are experiential and highly subjective. So, how about answering the question on how you would like to address my unacceptable Pagan practices?

I believe the rules of the forum allow for discussing our own religions as long as we don't promote them. If you don't want to hear it them simply put pagans on ignore.

I think this ranks up as one of the worst proofs ever. First, it requires me to accept that they all died, which isn't even in the New Testament. Second, it requires me to accept that had they simply recanted, they would have been spared. A lot of the stories I have seen, of which there are many and some contradict others, many of them upset the wrong Roman guy by converting the guy's wife and he was killed for that. So, he was killed for converting the wrong person, not for being a Christian.

I don't honestly believe many of them were killed.

It's a strange argument given that we know people of other religions will blow themselves up, light themselves on fire and fly into buildings for beliefs I assume Christian to believe false. Should I decide Islam is the one truth religion because someone blew themselves up for it?

They'll say that the Apostles were direct witnesses so it is different. But, if they want to make the claims, they need to offer up the proof. So far, there is no proof that these men died for their faith.

Are you sure Matt 11:25 reference is not regarding wise(and learned ) people ? .

Besides that what exactly you think Jesus was given ?.
