Totally opposed to the song. The same as I imagine any believer in salvation by grace I've ever met would be. When I do meet one actually preaching sin ahoy because you're covered, I'll speak up loudly.

But the one who says he still struggles with sin, without justifying it, is in fact an honest man.

I am saved by grace, therefore I love the law. It's the only way that I can guage whether I am still being conformed into His image - as I know full well that sanctification is both a point in time and a process.

As is typical for God throughout Scripture, He declares things before we can see them come to full fruition. Including this, based on the fact that it is HIM Who is completing the good work in us:

Jude 24-25

"To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy - to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen."

After all, He knows this because - HE IS!

Others like John MacArthur will say that if you stray from Christ 25 years from today -- then you were never saved to start with

Once you are saved you will act like you’re saved, and die saved
