Daniel 4:33-35 King James Version (KJV)
33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like birds' claws.
34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High, and I praised and honoured him that liveth for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he doeth according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What doest thou?
Daniel 4:33-35 New English Translation (NET Bible)
33 Now in that very moment this pronouncement about Nebuchadnezzar came true. He was driven from human society, he ate grass like oxen, and his body became damp with the dew of the sky, until his hair became long like an eagle’s feathers, and his nails like a bird’s claws.
34 But at the end of the appointed time I, Nebuchadnezzar, looked up toward heaven, and my sanity returned to me.
I extolled the Most High,
and I praised and glorified the one who lives forever.
For his authority is an everlasting authority,
and his kingdom extends from one generation to the next.
35 All the inhabitants of the earth are regarded as nothing.
He does as he wishes with the army of heaven
and with those who inhabit the earth.
No one slaps his hand
and says to him, ‘What have you done?’

33 This happened instantly to show God’s power. God wanted to humble him. God showed He was in charge and not the king.
34 The king realized who he was and who God truly was. The king knew that his authority was so small compared to the Lord’s authority. The king realized he was only a small part of God’s plan. The king realized that God’s kingdom included all the earth, we ourselves need to humble ourselves to accept this so we can accept Him.
35 God in charge of everything and holds true power. God is the answer no one answers to Him, we answer to Him as does everyone. God is right. We are so little compared to God but His love for us was so much that He died for us.
