Daniel 3:24-27
KJV 24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonied, and rose up in haste, and spake, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king. 25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God. 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace, and spake, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, ye servants of the most high God, come forth, and come hither. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, came forth of the midst of the fire. 27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors, being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power, nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor the smell of fire had passed on them.

God Delivers His Servants
24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar was startled and quickly got up. He said to his ministers, Wasnt it three men that we tied up and threw into the fire? They replied to the king, For sure, O king. 25 He answered, But I see four men, untied and walking around in the midst of the fire! No harm has come to them! And the appearance of the fourth is like that of a god! 26 Then Nebuchadnezzar approached the door of the furnace of blazing fire. He called out, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, servants of the most high God, come out! Come here! Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego emerged from the fire. 27 Once the satraps, prefects, governors, and ministers of the king had gathered around, they saw that those men were physically unharmed by the fire. The hair of their heads was not singed, nor were their trousers damaged. Not even the smell of fire was to be found on them!

24 This would have been something to throw him off guard. He would have been watching them burn this showed the mind frame he was in, he was watching and looking for them to burn and suffer. The king would have been the only one to allow them to be thrown in and since he made no order aside from the three men there should have been no others in the fire.
25 This would have very alarming to him because of them moving freely, this would in itself mean that the fire would not be burning them. This may have been an angel with them or could have been God in some form but regardless the king shows a lack of faith even after seeing the hand of God in this act. Some will doubt things no matter how much God does and no matter how many signs He gives.
26 The king knew no matter he did, he could not stop them or kill them because God was protecting them, the way he viewed it was that a god was protecting them. This really stood out the king and was something he would not forget, he called them out by name. Who knew their service to God was true and pure.
27 God can protect us from anything the world puts us though, and even if we suffer He will remain with us though it, He suffered for us, we may have to suffer for Him. This does not mean God will protect us against others when we serve Him, this fails at many places in scripture where men die for the faith but He will be with us and strength us at this time, this is shown because the men who are dying for the Faith seem strong at their time for death, Steven kept preaching while they were throwing stones this show he was strengthen at that time by God because no man could do this.
