This video of Dyer's (from almost three years ago, formerly unlisted/private until several days ago) goes through all the root causes of the current "quarrel". While on the surface it seems to be about the alleged cancellation of Fr. Tryphon by Ancient Faith Radio and a perception Fr. Damick (Chief Content Officer of AFR) and others have of certain types of internet Orthodox personalities, it ultimately comes down to the contentious war between tradition and modernity playing out in so many spheres of our lives. There's been quite a lot of discussion on this front in this forum on other threads, with others here also noticing a certain tendency AFR has to harbour or facilitate content creators with views of a more liberal stripe (as pointed out in Dyer's video as well as
this previously posted webpage).
As Not David has said, don't pay too much attention to this sort of drama. The online Orthodox world is a place one needs to navigate carefully, especially if one is an inquirer or catechumen and lacks the experience helpful in discerning these sorts of things. As long as you make contact with a parish and a priest in real life and do the reading you are (or inevitably will do), you'll be just fine.
