Loving Father, I thank you for creating me as I am, to be wonderful in your eyes. Today, I ask you to give me a simple heart, a heart like that of Jesus, able to be moved before the suffering of others and rejoice in the happiness and success of others.

Merciful Father, I commit my heart to you. I desire to listen to your voice today and accept your challenging words. Take, Lord, and receive my heart, everything I say or do and all the sufferings and joys of this day.
