We used to go to Weston, when visiting family in Bristol in the 1950s/early 60s. I remember loads of bed and breakfast places as we drove in advertising 2/6 per night I think! (12.5p, probably about 20 US cents.) Also I remember seeing one of the earliest hovercrafts on the beach there.

he is one year older than Janet and thirteen months younger than myself
I haven't seen or spoken to him
since I threw him out of my home, my having discovered
that he had been trying to entice my then spouse, to-abscond with him
while, I was working 'permanent-nights' at Stoke Park Hospital and had taken him in
after his wife discovered he was having an affair with her cousin
and wanted to divorce him_
His feet weren't big-enough to walk in my shoes, while I had six children asleep upstairs

Dad buys a LIE DETECTOR ROBOT which slaps people when they lie.
He decides to test it at dinner.
"Son, where were you today?" The son says "at school dad." Robot slaps the son!
"Ok, I watched a dvd at my friends house!"
Dad asks, "What dvd?"
The son replies "Toy story." Robot slaps the son again!
"Ok, it was a porno" cries the son.
Dad yells "What! When I was your age I didn't know what porn was!" Robot then slaps the dad!
Mom laughs "HaHaHa! He's certainly YOUR son."

with the wives, of other friends and even a 15 years old daughter of one of them

Police swarm N.Y. home
after 4 bodies found in basement

TROY, N.Y. — Troy Police officers have cordoned off the area around a home where four people were found dead Tuesday, reports CBS affiliate WRGB. Troy Police Captain Daniel DeWolf said the bodies were found in the basement.

DeWolf said the deaths are being investigated as possible homicides.

DeWolf tells the Albany Times-Union the building's property manager was among the dead. He calls the deaths "horrible, terrible" and sad.

Investigators are still processing the scene and have not said if they know any causes of death.

It is not clear if police are searching for persons of interest in the case.
