For Portals of Destruction.
~*~*~*~*~
Name: Daem Savaris
Gender: Male
Race: Human
Age: Appears to be around 30-40
Height: 5'7"
Weight: 145 lbs
Occupation: Writer/Scribe
Appearance: Fairly unremarkable-seeming, if slightly on the short side. He has light green eyes, dark hair and an unassuming manner about him, although there are occasional flashes of something else about him-- one who had an eye for it might call it a killer instinct; others would just say it was vaguely unsettling.
Personality: Seems fairly quiet because he's usually writing; also extremely perfectionistic. There is a very adventurous side to him, though, and when it comes out people tend to think he's crazy or suicidal. While generally mild-mannered he is also incredibly stubborn. He tends to see all sides of any given situation and often takes the less popular side in order to get people to think outside of their usual paths.
Abilities: An excellent writer and an even better shot with a crossbow-- although he does not seem like it, he can defend himself quite adequately. He also has other abilities that he generally does not display, but he seems awfully well-armed for a mere scribe.
Background: Most of Farselm would swear that Daem has been there forever, but he is actually fairly well-travelled. Recent events have led him to believe that it is not for him to settle down quite yet; chaotic times are ahead and he has other things he needs to do. His latest writing project relates to sk'kirrim history and he tries to pick up new things about it whenever possible. Because of that, perhaps, he is friendlier to sk'kirrim than most people.
He also has a few other things hidden back there; all that he will say is that he hasn't always been a writer.
Quirks: Spends every spare moment writing.
Objectives: Finish his current writing project-- ultimately, he'd like to get down to the root cause of the Great Divide; he thinks it might run deeper than even the Prophetess suspects.
Quote: "I'm not going to sleep yet; I'm almost done with this chapter!"
