cutting

would cutting be considered if u take your fingernails and try to bleed but don't. i did this last night but i didn't do much. i didn't even leave that much of anything except maybe lines.

I would say it's possibly a type of self harm. Without being too descriptive, I tend to think of cutting as something that's specifically done with a sharp object. Maybe it's comparable to snapping a rubber band against your wrist. It works as a distraction and gives you a sharp sensation without leaving a permanent mark. Did you do it to try to keep from cutting? Did it work?

i cannot say much about self harm but i suppose the least harmful behaviour is better.

yeah. and it did. it went away after a while.
