Let's use this thread to talk about games that we're currently playing. My list is:

I also play Planetside, but I'm currently unsubscribed since I cant afford the money/time for two online games. I also recently rented and beat Manhunt 2 on the PS2, which was actually alot more fun than I expected.

The Orange Box is amazing, it's my next item on "games that are worth buying" list. All my friends are into Team Fortress 2 right now, and I need to finish the HL series. Portal is another game that I've recently played, it was an amazing experience.

[The Theory]

pretty much been focusing on the DS lately, so all of the below are on from that:

Feel The Magic: XY/XX
Mario Kart DS
Resident Evil: Deadly Silence
and
Puzzle Quest

Puzzle Quest has to be one of the most addicting things ever... seriously. It is probably available on a platform you own so do yourself a favor and pick it up.

Puyo-puyo: 15th Anniversary Edition (Nintendo Wii) just got added to my rotation. My girlfriend LOVES Puyo-puyo (I forget the English name for this, but I know it appeared once as Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine on the Genesis/Mega Drive a long time ago) and Puzzle Bobble (English name: Bust-a-Move). Also, I'm SLOWLY working my way through Phantasy Star II on the PS2 (it was originally on the Mega Drive/Genesis, and has been completely been redone with PS2 graphics!).

Everyone is telling me that I need to play Biohazard 4 (Resident Evil 4), but I don't think I'll ever get around to it since I haven't even finished Biohazard 1!!!

There's nothing beyond the 1st Biohazard that came out a few months back. Resident Evil 4 is an absolutely awesome game! It's definitely one of the top games I would recommend to anyone. I initially thought God of War was the best, and definitely incredible in it's own right, but RE4 blew me away. Much better than the previous installments, though I do like RE1.

You should give RE4 and God of War a shot. I'm pretty sure you wouldn't regret it.

 

[The Theory]

Yeah, RE4 is a totally different beast. Especially since the controls are so much better than with the tank-like movement of the prior games. The storyline doesn't need the first three to make sense. So pick it up.

I'm currently involved in playing WoW a great deal, though I'm finding myself growing more and more bored with the tedious familiarity and repetition of "end game", and playing Crackdown in short bursts with my friend via XBL.

We just got an Xbox 360 and it came with Madden football 08. It's a lot of fun. I also like Cars and Open Season. I don't like bloody games.
