  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
  • We hope the site problems here are now solved, however, if you still have any issues, please start a ticket in Contact Us

I voted based on my pregnancy with my daughter since we're probably not going to find out if we're having a boy or a girl this time around. I had no morning sickness with my daughter and only a little bit of nausea from smells. With this pregnancy I have had no morning sickness again and no nausea from smells either.

I voted from when I was pregnant with my son... ;)

I voted "haven't been sick" but really it was more like "was only sick 4 times in 9 months"

My friend who had a baby in December was puking for the entire first 4-5 months of her pregnancy, hers was a boy too.

So I don't think it has anything to do with the sex of the child...

:)

I don't think it does either. My MIL had 6 kids, 5 of them boys. Each one was different in the morning sickness department. One of the boys she had no sickness at all. Another one she was throwing up from the time of conception to during labor and delivery.

So far I've had a boy and a girl and I was as sick as a dog with each. With number 3 which I don't know the sex of and wont find out till it's born I was also quite sick earlier on in my pregnancy.

I don't believe sickness has anything to do with baby gender, just to how your body responds to the extra hormones in the body.

We're not finding out the sex of our baby until it's born.

However, I haven't been sick at all except for maybe twice. Both times when I ate eggs, but the second time I was on a boat and then got seasick (which doesn't usually happen to me, may have been caused by my being pregnant).

I need another vote.
Pg1 - DD - HG - 6 weeks to 41.5 weeks
Pg2 - DS - HG - 8 weeks to 40 weeks
Pg3 - ?? - haven't had more than nausea, but I'm only 6 weeks. I can handle sick, but I'm praying that I don't go through HG again.

Oh my goodness, and I thought I had it tough because my morning sickness lasted to 6 months.
