Jer 4:
23 I
looked on the earth, and behold,
it was formless and void;
And to the heavens, and they had no light.
24 I looked on the mountains, and behold, they were quaking,
And all the
hills moved to and fro.
25 I looked, and behold,
there was no man,
And all the
birds of the heavens had fled.
26 I looked, and behold, the fruitful land was a wilderness,
And
all its cities were pulled down
Before the Lord, before His fierce anger.
27 For thus says the Lord,
“The whole land
shall be a desolation,
Yet I will not execute a complete destruction.
28 “For
this the earth shall mourn
And the heavens above be dark,
Because I have spoken, I have purposed,
And I will not change My mind, nor will I turn from it.”
Why a desolate Earth with no humans and only ruined cities in Jer 4?
1 Thess 4:13-18 all saints raptured to heaven John 14:1-3
Rev 19 "all the rest were killed"
17 Then I saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that fly in the midst of heaven, “Come and gather together for the supper of the great God, 18 that you may eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of captains, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and of those who sit on them, and the flesh of all people, free and slave, both small and great.”
19 And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him who sat on the horse and against His army. 20 Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who worked signs in his presence, by which he deceived those who received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 21 And the rest were killed with the sword which proceeded from the mouth of Him who sat on the horse. And all the birds were filled with their flesh.
2 Thess 1: All the unsaved slain at his appearing
5 This is a plain indication of God’s righteous judgment so that you will be considered worthy of the kingdom of God, for which indeed you are suffering. 6 For after all it is only just for God to repay with affliction those who afflict you, 7 and to give relief to you who are afflicted and to us as well when the Lord Jesus will be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels in flaming fire, 8 dealing out retribution to those who do not know God and to those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 These will pay the penalty of eternal destruction,
