Sadly this thread is not about literal cults.. sorry to disappoint some..
This thread is about not so well known media that has a small dedicated fan base. What are some things you really like that are sadly vastly underrated in terms of exposure?
For me that would be The Life And Times Of Tim. One of the funniest cartoons I have ever watched. Sadly it was only on HBO and I've never heard anyone ever mention this show to me in my life. I do feel the writing and humor is on the quality of the best episodes of South Park and The Simpsons. I find the type of humor quite unique too. Much of the humor derives on the awkwardness Tim experiences. Whether from his own undoing or the undoing others force upon him the central theme is that Tim faces a lot of embarrassment in life. From his boss forcing him to pretend to be a Mexican to meet diversity quotas to a priest that talks him into doing bizarre things in public.. the poor guy never catches a break.
Anyways curious about any hidden gems you like that you wish others knew about.
