Hi all,

I noticed crows directly outside of my window when doing spiritual things like prayer and worship. While I asked the Father to address the matter (and believe He has done so), I am curious to know what insight others may have into what caused the crows to appear. They appeared multiple times over the course of several days.

I am not charismatic, but I have a few theories:

1. Food is located near the windows, attracting crows.
2. Crows are building a nest nearby.
3. Reminds me of Job*

*Job 12:7-10 (NKJV): "But now ask the beasts, and they will teach you; And the birds of the air, and they will tell you; Or speak to the earth, and it will teach you; And the fish of the sea will explain to you. Who among all these does not know. That the hand of the Lord has done this, In whose hand is the life of every living thing, And the breath of all mankind?"

I wouldn't Spiritualize every event. Sometimes crows are just being crows.

Crows are cool. These birds can do some things that humans can, such as peeling fruit.

Hello! Reminds me of this scripture:

1 Kings 17: 2 Then the word of the Lord came to Elijah: 3 “Leave here, turn eastward and hide in the Kerith Ravine, east of the Jordan. 4 You will drink from the brook, and I have directed the ravens to supply you with food there.”

Sometimes crows/ ravens are looked on in a negative light, perhaps because of association with pagan or occult beliefs. But they always make me think of this passage of scripture, they are some of the most intelligent and inquisitive birds, perhaps why the Lord used them to attend to Elijah.

Ravens are nest robbers.
There are very large Ravens that raid our yard and destroy the nests of other birds.. The Ravens only take one baby bird from a nest but often knock the entire nest on the ground so the remaining babies dies slow deaths on the ground. This generally causes great uproar and distress among the nesting birds.

Sometimes Ravens are looked on in a negative light but it is not always or only because of pagan or occult beliefs.

I know there are a bunch of wive's tales about crows and cardinals and owls, and I don't know what all else, but I don't know of any of it that's biblical, so I don't put any stock in it at all.

I'm not much for things like this but there was a Church I went to and on Sunday mornings someone would have to go and clean the blood off the glass doors and dispose of the bodies of crows who were flying into the glass. It turned out that the preacher was having an affair with one of the members. Make what you will of it.

Most likely is food, good places to perch, or both.

Crows are birds. They do things for bird reasons.
