Hi everyone,
BarbraJean I was looking at your projects thread, you have done some amazing stuff. I have an afghan book with the pattern in it for the American flag that you did, there are some amazing patterns there.
I would never keep anything that I made. I made a really nice shawl - copying the pattern from a store bought shawl- and gave it to my sister. I was so proud of it I took a photo.

I just finished another one but made with a cream thread and put beads through the edging with out a fringe. It ended up much larger than I thought it would. I received 3 complements on it the first day I wore it out.
I am working on a new shawl now with the same colour wool that I used for my sisters shawl but putting beads through it, so far looks amazing.
I have difficulty finishing a project, last time I went through my craft box, there were over 20 half finished projects.
I am having an operation next week, I will work on some stuff for my niece who will be born in Feb.
Thanks for the inspiration!
beads are pretty easy to work with as long as you keep your head about you and remember what you're doing.Your projects sound great! And I love the colors in your shawl. I've never tried putting beads on anything.
The pattern book - does it also have the daisy afghan pattern? That's my main project right now. I love it!
Not a UT fan I take it? Lol.
Has anyone here ever crocheted a cape? I'm thinking about making one for playtime with my 7 year old niece. Anyone have any tips for it?
Thank you !!! I found this site; I think I'm going to knit one, it's called Chocolate Shrug. I'm just starting knitting and this one looks pretty easy so I think I'll try it. ThanksHere's a bunch of shrug patterns for you. Have fun!![]()
