we need a spiritual and creative name for our youth group that people can come to and not be so scared off my church, cause some hear that word and freak, i posted this in the teen forums but theirs all yall who write poetry and storys that i figured could come up with some names. anything will help.

what you got me a bit confused, were trying to think of names so when we invite our friends we can say like come to the lighthouse ive got someone for you to meet, or something like that instead of saying church cause some get all weird when you mention church. come on guys, keep em coming.

one of the buildings at my church is named "the cove". it's got a verse explaining why it's called that. i'll have to find the verse one why it's called that though.

Our's is called Strive youth group, because we're striving to be more like God. Our motto is becoming a Jacob Generation. We have a verse too, but I can't remember it. DARRIONS knows it though...

LFG- Lighthouse for God

My Uth's called Youth Prime Time. It's sorta corny though. We sometimes have Alien Night, teaching that us Christian's are only visiting this Earth. Our real home is Heaven. We also have F.R.O.G.

the youth group at my church is called "Timothy" whereas my fellowship is called "Uni fellowship". (still haven't come up with a name after all these years)

Giving a Youth Group a name would still give it a 'cheese deminsion' to it, even if it is 'The Lighthouse' or 'The Birth Defect'. Why don't you try acronyms, those can always be fun.

Maybe you could call it "The Pathway" or the road. As in teh pathway through life and to God

Maybe "The Bridge"? "The arrow" or something.
