The only things created were religions. There are too many, too different, too split to be the work of a god. And seeing as men can create them so easily, it's obvious a god isn't required. All that's essential is a good powerful speaker with a good idea, and a gullible crowd.

Don't believe me? Moonies, Scientology, Mormons, Buddhists, Branch Davidians, Movement for the Restoration of the Ten Commandments of God, Aum Shinrikyo, Children of God, Order of the Solar Temple, People’s Temple, Heaven’s Gate.

Add a Pharaoh, Emperor, or King into the mix. And it gains ground. Some of these fell flat because they didn't have Royal patronage. Imagine their power if they had of had that.

Of course to the believers, I don't mean your branch of your religion, it's only the others that are wrong. ;)

Quite. Imagine where Christianity would be if it weren't for the patronage of Emperor Constantine.

The problem here is that God does not make carbon copies...each and everything in this Universe is utterly unique and that was his intent. Each is fearfully and wonderfully made. No two planets are alike, no two stars,no two cells, no two any "thing"! Nothing is "the exact same" except that which is manufactured by men and there is grounds for even questioning this. Only a God could make this happen, unless you want to claim the Universe is intelligent (as some do)! The laws and principles guiding these processes are consistent though...formation and function follow and obey this lawfulness which precedes them.

The church survived all of these 'patrons'.

One rejects their savior at their peril.
Strange kind of reasoning, that... at least in regard to a supernatural, divine "savior".

I don't "reject" any saviour. If any such being wants to "save" me from whatever... it is fine with me. Go ahead and save me!

I simply do not believe in the existence of either saviour or something I need to be saved from. If a potential saviour sees that as a rejection and as a cause not to save me... it rather fails to live up to its job description, wouldn't you think?

I think in your mind, millions of religious people are simply stupid. Definitely you highly over-estimated yourself and are very proud. Do you know there are Ph.D. level programs for major religions?

It is not easy at all to develop a sound theology. In fact, it is very difficult. I believe you are a smart person. If you tried to figure out a new theology from scratch, I bet you will will run out of idea in 10 minutes. I am serious. I and one of my smartest friend have tried this before.

It is impossible to construct a theology like the Christianity by human wisdom.

No worries. God will save you, eventually. And there will be joy in heaven.

Oh this old nonsensical argument.

Two men see a car drive down the road, one says its blue, the other insists it was red. Therefore no car drove down the road. Logical yes?

I don't think the two people disagree a car drove down the road, they just disagree on the color.

Similar to Christians, who all think a God exists, they just have many different denominations and theologies to apply to this God.

L Ron Hubbard and Joseph Smith, say hi, and are you claiming that Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam etc are more than human made religions?

Human is God's wonderful creation. Human, given enough time, can figure out some wonderful theology. However, I believe that in order to have a theology widely accepted and long lasting, there is a need of something else. Something that is beyond human. That is why I only consider major religions and not to worry about many other minor religions. Is Mayan's religion worse than Hinduism? I don't think so. But it did not continue for one reason or another.

Tell this to Joseph Smith, Hubbard, Koresh, Sun Myung Moon, Applewhite, etc. Are all their followers very intelligent?

The older churches had the persuasive power of being burned at the stake, or imprisoned, and compared with today's audience illiterate.

Here's your opportunity to give everyone solid proof god exists, we know religions exist, so having a PH.Don them isn't unusual. Likr Ph.Ds on snowboarding, David Beckham studies, Parapsychology, Philosophy in Ufology, The Phallus, Science of Harry Potter, Star Trek and there are more.

It's possible to construct a theology like the Christianity by human wisdom. Otherwise there wouldn't be so many others.

Now all you have to do is prove this is true. Anyone looking at any religions and seeing how they make women second class. Has to admit the hand of Man. God's don't create first and second class people, nor make the functions of women's body a sin or dirty and the birth of agirl something that warrants extra periods.

Nice rant you have there. Now are we to conclude that all of science should be written off become of all the pseudo-science gobbledygook there is around?
