Is this what I get for agreeing with you that the Bible belt has the highest rate of teen pregnancies in the USA?
If you agree that the Bible Belt has the highest pregnancy rate in the USA, what makes you think that the way they go about teaching sex education is the way to go?

Do you have a similar graphic for teen abortion rates? I know that one consequence of a higher teen pregnancy rate is a higher abortion rate. Being against sex education indicates that from the results that one must be pro-abortion.

And I have not found a graphic per state but there is this graphic that shows higher teen pregnancies equals higher teenage abortion numbers:

Well i think for a NASA astronaut to go looking for Noah's ark says something about it's validity.
Not really. Individuals have all sorts of off-the-wall hobbies, even highly successful science and engineering types. Now if NASA went looking for Noah's Ark, then you might have something.

Dogs can achieve incredible genetic diversity in a very short time, but humans can't?
Dogs can have a litter of 4-10 pups (depending on breed) every year beginning at around six months old. Can humans?

I could use a smaller picture, but that one is so impressive.
Yes, it is impressive but it really breaks the formatting of the thread.

Ark believers cannot explain the formation. It can only be explained by the standard model of biology.
Biology explains incised meanders?

ETA; I see you corrected that. Thanks.

Actually that was an error of mine that I already owned up to. But I will do so again. I made a mistake, I meant to say geology, my post was clearly wrong.

ETA: And as you will see when I posted it again I did use a smaller version of the image.

If you want to see that image blown up several more times I can give you a link to it. It is still very clear and even more impresssive.

That was the premise of The Population Bomb. It was wrong of course. The examples given show that it doesn't take anywhere near 150 years for a population to double, it can happen quickly. That eliminates the population argument that flood deniers put forth.
That is the same population doubling rate that you gave earlier. Are you no longer accepting that model?

Other factors in population growth include the pressure to reproduce. In agrarian societies, large families are needed to help till the soil. When nations are besieged, they need a high birth rate to produce warriors for defense.
What nations have been under siege for at least the decade and half required for the first year of new "warriors" to come up to fighting standard?

As societies became more mechanized and infant mortality rates began to decline, so did the population growth.
Except that goes completely against the evidence. The beginnings of the industrial revolution was accompanied by a sharp decline in infant mortality rates and that is when population growth began to shoot up exponentially.

^_^

I have 318 times more posts than you, and you say this?

Care to back it up?
When you have more than 1800 threads where you are the only participant and do nothing more than post numbers counting to a 1,000 in a lame attempt to intentionally inflate your post count, who cares how many posts you have?

No graphic but a quick internet search yielded this

"Unwed pregnant teens and 20-somethings who attend or have graduated from private religious schools are more likely to obtain abortions than their peers from public schools, according to research in the June issue of the Journal of Health and Social Behavior."

Also this;

Q: Do Catholic women get abortions more frequently than Protestant women?
A: Catholics are slightly more likely to get an abortion than Protestants, according to a 2000-2001 survey.

You're asking this question to a guy who self identifies as a saint.

Maybe I should adopt a "saintly attitude". I am already an ordained minister in two different churches. It took me less than 5 minutes of my time. I think I put as much work into my ordination as Dr. Hovind put into his PhD theses, which of course begins "Hello, my name is Kent Hovind".

Yep, I saw you corrected that after I posted mine. I edited my post to acknowledge that.

Yes it is. I've seen it many times, it is a beautiful picture.

Thanks. I do not understand why antiabortion Christians do not do all that is in their power to legally lower the abortion rate. We all know what works. Like it or not children that are thoroughly educated in all aspects of sexual reproduction have a lower teenage pregnancy rate, lower teenage abortion rate, and I have not checked it yet but I am willing to be a lower teenage STD rate.
