When I achieved a graduate degree in human physiology, we had to perform much of our work, reviewing and analyzing many different scientific studies on the same. We did use the same text book medical students use for human physiology, but the bulk of the work was done relying on scientific studies.

The weak link in the False ToE is that it CANNOT explain HOW or WHEN magical evolution produced the superior intelligence of Humans. The Santa Clause character over 1000 years later was sort of loosely based on the very real Bishop. I am not sure about toys, he use to leave fruit or candy in the children's stocks they were sleeping. They only had one pair of socks and they would wash them and hang them by the fire to dry when they were sleeping. The little boys or girls that were naughty did not get fruit or candy, they got sticks and coal to throw in the fire to show that our sins can be cleansed and we can be clean and pure before God.

Abraham was a Chaldean from Ur. They actually knew quite a bit about Astronomy back in his day. Only they had a lot of astrology or error mixed in. The knowledge went from Ur to Babylon and we know what happened there. Saddam Hussein tried to rebuild the city but he failed. As the Bible says the city will never be inhabited again.

The problem with text books is that they date very quickly: whereas using primary research can be barely weeks old. When I was a psychology undergrad we did not know how lithium worked for Bi-polar disorder. Now we do.
