Creationism claims that the sky is actually made of water, but there is very strong evidence in the scientific community that its not made of water.
Its easy to look up and see the sky is blue, and conclude that it is a giant ocean. After all, precipitation comes from the sky, therefore it one might conclude the sky is made of it.
One simply needs to note that astronauts have never recorded going through a water mass while travelling to outer space. But this does not explain the colour and the precipitation. Could it be that astronauts are denying the existence of water around the atmosphere because of a conspiracy or hidden agenda in the space exploration sciences? In order to refute this, we would have to prove alternate ways for the sky to be blue and water to fall from it, other than it being just a giant ocean. Luckily, science has made such discoveries!
Why is the sky blue?
Scientists now know that it has to do with the way light from the sun refracts through the specific chemical composition in our atmosphere. It is actually a lot more complicated than that, so if you want a more detailed explanation, you can click here or here for a much more detailed explanation of it.
Why does water fall from the sky?
Turns out, the water is actually coming from the surface of the earth. It evaporates from various bodies of water, and even wet land. Once it reaches a certain altitude and the conditions are right, it forms "clouds". Turns out clouds are not gateways to the water store houses in the ocean in the heavens, they are just collections of evaporated water. Once this collection reaches a certain density though, the water falls! Weather channels never tell you this though, because they have a biased creationism agenda. They keep you thinking the clouds are open windows to the ocean above that move along the earth and let rain down from heaven.
When you present this to creationists on the street with a camera in their face, and tell them to explain it, they all just stare blankly, totally stunned.
Thus, by refuting that the sky is not made of water, creationism itself has been refuted.
