geocentrics to flat earthers--the bible does not depict a flat earth.
geocentrics to YECists-compromisers with modern science

flat earthers to geocentrics-compromisers for Copernicanism is the first step to atheism.

YECist to geocentrics-literalists, the bible goes not teach geocentricism, show me the verses.
YECists to TE-useful idiots of the atheist, compromising the true gospel to the acclaim of your scientific friends.

TE to YECist-over literal hermeneutic, the bible does not speak about the age of the earth

anyone else see a pattern here?

How about God stopping the sun for a day for Joshua? The sun doesn't revolve around the Earth, so the sun wouldn't be what God stops
So you're saying that the sun is stationary and it is the earth that is moving? How do you know this? Scientists no longer believe in the 'ether' we believe in Einstein's relativity and the affect of the observer in experiments. Just because the sun is the most massive body in the solar system does that make it the centre?

Well, gravity is obviously only a theory. If it was proven, it would be a fact. Since it's not proven, Kepler is wrong.

If the Bible flatout says that the universe's ultimate frame of reference is the sun, then it would be wrong in saying that the sun revolves aroung the earth. But it doesn't say that. Have we discovered the universe's exact frame of reference? If not, what is to prevent it from being the earth?

...... Yes the Sun Does Revolve the earth
I said the Sun doesn't revolve around the Earth. The Sun's gravitational pull is what holds the earth in orbit, but that isn't what the verse about Joshua's day is referring to. The Earth revolves around the sun, which is where we get our years and seasons. The Earth rotates on it's own axis in relation to the sun, which is where we get night and day. The sun does not move in relation to the rest of the solar system. The Solar System moves around the sun.

The sun may move within our galaxy, I'm not sure about that, but all the planets orbit around the sun. If the Earth wasn't moving, we wouldn't have Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring.

Sure we would, the sun just has to move up a down a bit relative to us (i.e. not on a completely flat plane)

Obviously you don't seem to understand that I disagree with you here.

And it is thanks to your ignorance of geocentricity that you seem to think that we can only get seasons if the earth were rotating.

Why don't people read a little bit about the subject there dealing with before commenting...

This is a rather ironic post. I never said we get seasons from the Earth's rotation. We get them from the Earth's revolution around the sun. Rotation and Revolution are not the same thing. Seasons are a result of the tilt in the Earth's axis in relation to the Sun. When the Northern Hemisphere is pointing towards the sun, it is summer in the north, and winter in the south. As the Earth revolves to the other side of the sun, so that the Northern Hemisphere is pointing away from the sun, it is winter in the north and summer in the South.

Geocentrists believe it is the universe that the universe tilts, not the earth.

How does the universe tilt? We know that the Earth is tilted on its axis. The Earth revolving around the sun is why we have seasons.
How do you know the Earth is tilted? Do you mean the sun is not moving on the same plane as the equator? What does this have to do with geocentrism anyway? We all know the Earth is stationary, have you ever felt it rotating/tipping/hurtling through space?

Are you serious here? It is a fact that the Earth is tilted, and the Earth revolves around the sun.

Do you seriously believe the Earth is stationary?
