This is the same Heaven that we go to, such as in John 14:2-4 and Revelation 21?

John 14:2-4 (NIV): "My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going."

Were was God when he created the heavens and earth?

Nowhere. This question is an anthropocentric/anthropomorphic one - we live in space and therefore we imagine that God must also live in some space.

However, everything that exists - heavens, Earth, space, time, matter, energy - exists in Him. He does not exist in the creation, for example in space.

Born again believers live on the new earth in eternity and not in heaven. John 14 is addressing believers who die during the church age.
Believers will not die during the Messianic age, then after the 1000 year rule of Jesus there is the eternal state. Where the new earth is created and where born again children of God will live.

My guy, @fli says that believers would live in Heaven, the New Jerusalem. Once Jesus returns, Heaven and the New Earth will be united. I am excited for New Jerusalem.

Jesus returns at the end of the tribulation and sets up the Messianic 1000 year rule, satan is bound and Jesus rules the earth for 1000 years with the law. During Jesus' 1000 year rule/reign there are no believers in heaven, they are all on the earth

After the 1000 year rule of Jesus, satan is thrown into the lake of fire, where the beast from the sea and the false prophet (antichrist) are.
Then after the great white throne judgment (for unbelievers) the old heaven and earth is destroyed and the new heaven and earth are created. The New Jerusalem comes down out of heaven and rest on the new earth where it will remain for all eternity.

No One can answer the question except those who've died. There is a third heaven and I interpret that as somewhere many dimensions away from here. This is my guess to a question that can't be answered, The third heaven is where God resides and was already created and the creation story is the heavens and earth that we live in and are studying.

I believe God will be in the same place, when He destroys the current heaven and earth and creates the new heaven and earth. As He was when He created the Genesis heaven and earth.

Well current born again believers will not be waiting on Jesus. They will actually be coming with Jesus when He, Jesus returns to fight for Israel.

Amen to that. And we do not need to take any bets, cos Jesus will win. In fact, He has already won on the cross.

Isaiah was one of the major prophets, he has predicted Jesus before Jesus was even born.
