I can support my claim, but I won't until you try supporting yours.
Very well I like most of us I am sure have watched many documentary programs on subjects such as geology or some have experience in the class room and I remember quite well that rock layers that were claimed to be pushed up by subsurface layers and asteroid impacts have left the oldest rocks to have formed that have not been regurgitated by melting in deep volcanic streams still are found on the surface now what I asked is where did all the impact craters go and why did so many old rocks remain even if they are only 3.5 billion years old and the big craters where 4.5 billion years ago if 4.5 billion years can wash away craters the size of texas surely 3.5 billion years would wash away little rock layers.

Once again you avoid answering the question. This level of dishonesty is really not a great advert for Christianity.

Woah, hold your horses. You don't get to move the goalposts and hope nobody notices. Your assertion: "science says there are rock formations as old as the Earth." Your evidence: "as I said, there are rock formations 3.5 billion years old and [your wording is unclear here] there were craters 4.5 billion years ago."

How old is the Earth? Are the rock formations as old as the Earth?

Then please explain the relevance of erosion of craters when rocks can be pushed up from inside the Earth.

Thank you now you're asking the right questions. You seemed quite sharp at reviewing my past posts and questioning all that you could find but you seem to have missed one of my posts that made it clear that I believe the bible in a literal sense. You see I believe the earth is 6000 years old not 4.5 billion and I don't believe the earth was ever peppered by large asteroids or comets. It is you that believes in that not me I was provoking a response for creation v evolution now if you have no interest or knowledge of either then there is nothing to debate with you or can you hold up your end of whatever you do believe in.

You really don't get how this works, do you? You don't get to say "science says X, please explain" without first demonstrating that science does, indeed, say X. If you want to debate science, bring some science. If you want to continue debating strawman arguments we're done.

I thought you would ask me to explain why I believe what I do believe in like a simple question of why is the moon covered in craters but you state the earth never was. I think I have made my case for a debate to commence but you seem to be agitated and want to back out.

There you go again. Where did anyone, other than you, say the Earth had no craters?

Dishonesty doesn't deserve anyone's attention. We're done.

You have misread what I wrote I was putting myself as the second person as if you were asking me that question. I know I was the only person that made that claim.

Personal views are not allowed. But as part of the education process...I've no problem children being taught about religions (note the plural).

The oldest impact structure known is the Yarrabubba crater in Australia dated 2,229 ± 5 million years old.

While the crater has eroded away the original radius is determined through magnetic anomalies.
MAGNETIC ANOMALY – Crater Explorer

The presence of shocked zircon and monazite indicating shock metamorphism due to high pressures and temperatures associated with meteorite impacts have also been U-Pb dated to determine when the impact occurred.

So the crater is dated by the rocks found around them?

That's correct.
Zircon and monazite are minerals found in the rocks and it is radioactive decay of uranium (U) to lead (Pb) which are impurities in these minerals which can be dated.
