Was reading there TOS, found this surprising.

So they take ownership of any work you create

That's standard TOS in any online achievement-oriented activity (mmorpgs being the biggest culprit, but there are others) to prevent people from sellign their game stuff on ebay and whatnot. At least, not selling it legally.

Second half I agree with.
But the first half*, where something like My Flaming Head Avatar would become There Property, if I upload it to use it on there site ??? I don't think so.

its just pretty much a standard agreement. and its still in development so no avatars in the forums (home made forums at the moment due ot the specifics of the game)
