No, you were talking about the Garden of Eden being at the North Pole.I know, but God can do anything right & besides we are talking about the Garden of Eden being here the heart of the earth.
No, you were talking about the Garden of Eden being at the North Pole.
The North Pole isn't the centre of the earth.Yes I know & it is.
The North Pole isn't the centre of the earth.
Just as the heart isn't at the centre of the body.
The first thing I noticed about this map is its title, which reads in English "New and more complete representation of the terrestrial globe properly adapted for use in navigation." So it is a map of the "globe" earth.![]()

That's a matter of opinion. It is where the Garden of Eden, Polaris and the Aurora Borealis is though and why all compasses point to the North.

Mercator's 1569 map was a large planisphere,[3] i.e. a projection of the spherical Earth onto the plane.
Besides that, you haven't answered how far it is from the NP to Asia, where the Euphrates runs.
You never asked.
Was the Garden of Eden at the North Pole?
Read Genesis 2 instead of conspiracy theorists. A river that flowed from Eden was separated into 4 headwaters; one of these was the Euphrates." Genesis 2:14.
How close is the Euphrates to the North Pole?
That doesn't answer my question. How close to the North Pole is the Euphrates?
Of the rivers listed, the Euphrates is the only one, I think, that we still have. It can be measured. How long is it and how close to the North Pole?
That doesn't answer my question.
One of the rivers which flowed from Eden was the Euphrates, Genesis 2:14. From there it split into 4 headwaters; one of which was the Euphrates.
Is the start, or end, of the Euphrates anywhere near the North Pole?
Mercator saw it as a sphere.@Strong in Him So I never answered, I don't know how to answer your question, what ever I say you will contradict as you don't believe Eden is at the NP that's b/c you see the earth different to me, you see it as sphere where as I see it as level. Not to worry each to his/her own.
I'm not going to contradict facts.@Strong in Him So I never answered, I don't know how to answer your question, what ever I say you will contradict as you don't believe Eden is at the NP that's b/c you see the earth different to me, you see it as sphere where as I see it as level. I thought you believed Genesis to be true.It is where the Garden of Eden, Polaris and the Aurora Borealis is though and why all compasses point to the North.
King James Bible
For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. Psalm 75:6
I'm not going to contradict facts.
Fact 1. God planted a garden in the East, in Eden.
Fact 2. A river flowed from Eden and divided into 4 headwaters. One of these rivers ran through Cush, thought to be NW Mesopotamia. Another river was the Euphrates. Scripture doesn't tell us any more about this river - but we still have it today. It is 1,470 miles long and is in SW Asia.
Fact 3. You wrote about Eden being at the centre of the earth and posted a clip from YouTube. If Eden is at the centre of the earth it's not at the North Pole.
Fact 4. This thread is about the "Micro and the Macro"; how the earth resembles our bodies. You said that the heart was in the middle of the body - it isn't. You even posted a diagram which shows it near the top of the body.
Fact 5. You quoted a 400+-year-old map to try to prove your point. The guy who drew it believed in a spherical earth.
So the Bible says that the Garden of Eden was in the East - you say it was in the centre of the earth, which is the North Pole.
This had nothing to do with the shape of the earth
Either Eden was in the EAST, as the Bible says, in the NORTH, as you say, or in the CENTRE, which you also say.
If it is at the North Pole, can the 1,470-mile-long Euphrates run from there to Asia?
I'm not surprised you can't answer this. And without answers, and evidence, this remains your belief.
You're entitled to hold it; it's a free country, but it doesn't stand up to scrutiny.
I have quoted Scripture. It's so simple when you just quote scripture.
King James Bible
For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. Psalm 75:6
King James Bible
Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King. Psalm 48:2
I thought you believed Genesis to be true.
"The Lord God planted a garden eastward in Eden, and there He put the man whom He had formed." Genesis 2:8 NKJV
"eastward" is not North.
