Creation Suggests Creation

A preacher preached a sermon in which a young man waited until after the sermon, approaching the preacher, and saying, "You know I don't believe in the creation story." The preacher pointed out the window and said, "I don't believe in assembly stories! You see that Dodge Challenger out in the lot? I believe it arose out of the ground without the help of factories."

I believe dirt arose out of the ground and an intelligible force manufactured it along with giving it rules to make the best use of the product. Just like rules go along with owning vehicles. For a man and a woman to get together and plant the seed which will become a child is a very complicated design! Which took a lot of thought!

Wow, science has moved on from the out of date Darwin theories of evolution.

The Lord's creation leaves a story in the rocks of progressively more complex forms of life with clear relationships to their ancestors. This pattern is confirmed through the evidence of comparative anatomy and genetics. There is no conflict between the Word of God written in the rocks and in DNA, and the Word of God written in Scripture. So I reject your limited view of God's Creation."

So a preacher proved that he was an ignorant fool. How does that help the failed creation story of the Bible?

Now we know what you believe. What reliable evidence is there for your beliefs? Just in case, the Bible is the claim, it is not evidence. You need something outside of the Bible to support your beliefs.

Stephen Meyers is only good at arguments from ignorance. That is not evidence either.

A boy was sitting on a park bench with one hand resting on an open Bible. He was loudly exclaiming his praise to God. "Hallelujah! Hallelujah! God is great!" he yelled without worrying whether anyone heard him or not.

Shortly after, along came a man who had recently completed some studies at a local unive rsity. Feeling himself very enlightened in the ways of truth and very eager to show this enlightenment, he asked the boy about the source of his joy.

"Hey" asked the boy in return with a bright laugh, "Don't you have any idea what God is able to do? I just read that God opened up the waves of the Red Sea and led the whole nation of Israel right through the middle."

The enlightened man laughed lightly, sat down next to the boy and began to try to open his eyes to the "realities" of the miracles of the Bible. "That can all be very easily explained. Modern scholarship has shown that the Red Sea in that area was only 10-inches deep at that time. It was no problem for the Israelites to wade across."

The boy was stumped. His eyes wandered from the man back to the Bible laying open in his lap. The man, content that he had enlightened a poor, naive young person to the finer points of scientific insight, turned to go. Scarcely had he taken two steps when the boy began to rejoice and praise louder than before. The man turned to ask the reason for this resumed jubilation.

"Wow!" exclaimed the boy happily, "God is greater than I thought! Not only did He lead the whole nation of Israel through the Red Sea, He topped it off by drowning the whole Egyptian army in 10 inches of water!"

Serves that man right. Modern scholarship does not show that the Red Sea was ever 10" deep.

A bit of a strawman since any actual scholar would have told him that "modern scholars" (since the mid 1800's if you want to call that modern) have concluded that there was no Exodus as told in the Bible. And I am unaware of any part of the Red Sea that is only ten inches deep for any large area of it. It sounds as if that came from an apologist. Never trust Christian apologists. Far too often they appear to be willing to lie for Jesus. In the long term that can only harm Christianity.

tah Father has fought for His bride Israel, tah Son has done His part, now the Bride, the Holy Spirit, is the final stand. Sshe is the only force for good, and the bible says that she will win.

So close to 200 years after the first publication of The origin of Species, creationists still have nothing more but ignorance and ridicule. Nothing has changed since the days of the debate between Huxley and bishop Wilberforce.
