I want to know if Creation or Evolution is correct, its been a tuf thing to understand for me, so which is correct?

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

They may both be correct. However, CreationISM is a falsified theory, whereas evolution is supported by myriad evidence.GundamX said:

There are universal laws that cannot be ignored. Such as the laws of logic. GOD Leaves nothing undone or without purpose. Seek and you will find ask and you shall recieve. I once had the Great Debate on tape. But it was lost in a shuffle of things. If you can find this debate it will help in your search for your answer. Not sure if the names are spelled correctly. Bausen is a Christian and has Doctors degrees in Phylosophy and Stien is an Athiest. Good luck in your search. I hope you find what you are looking for. I am a Christian.

Creation is something you have to take on faith. The basic Christian position on Creation is "God did it" - and as God is not subject to our tests (for whatever reasons), there is no way beyond faith to "know".
Creationism - the various theories of how God did it (in 6 days, 6000 years ago, instantly, seperate species...) - these ARE subject to out tests. They got tested, and failed the tests.
Evolution is the curretly most valid theory of how life on Earth became what it is today - including humans. It has withstood the testing. Not that the scientific theory of Evolution does not make any statements about God - neither positive nor negative.

Seek science from honest scientists and theology from honest theologians, then make up your own mind.

Decide for yourself. First find out what evolution is. I suggest Ernst Mayr's book titled, oddly enough, "What Evolution Is". It is not unusual for some creationists to misrepresent how evolution is defined, and what evidence exists for it. Follow some threads in forums like this one. Familiarize yourself with arguments made by both sides.GundamX said:

I gave you the link to Talk Origins. That site presents the theory of evolution from the perspective of mainstream science, but it provides links to a number of creationist sites as well. I found Christian Forums, though indirectly, as a result of a search for answers that started there.GundamX said:

2. Creationism is a scientific theory on how God created.
3. Evolution is also a scientific theory on how God created. For a Christian. See the second quote in my signature.
So, for a Christian the discussion is not whether God created, but how. All the evidence that God left us in His Creation says that He created by evolution, not creationism. In fact, the evidence He left in Creation says that it is impossible that He created by creationism.
FoC knows that creationism has been falsified. That's why he tries to duck into the "interpretation" excuse. True statements cannot have false consequences. The statements that are creationism -- 144 hour creation, kinds appearing in their present form, a global Flood to explain the geological record, etc. -- have false consequences. They cannot be true.
